Disciples III: Renaissance

Disciples III: Renaissance free pc game for pc full version download is a turn-based strategy game. The publisher Strategy First changed the developer from Game Factory Interactive to Akella's studio .dat. It has been working on this project since the summer of 2005.

The player assumes the role of one of the lords of Nevendaar. This new episode contains three playable races, 'The Empire', 'The Legions of the Damned' and the 'Elven Alliance', with the remaining factions making an addition in planned expansions. The battle system is completely different from that of previous Disciples games. Units are able to move around the battlefield and make use of terrain for fortifications.[5] The player's hero is highly customizable. His abilities as well as his armor and weapons can be changed. All of the equipment changes are noticeable on the actual character model.

Disciples III: Renaissance uses .dat’s in-house Virtual Dream engine

Controversy

An unknown number of disc based copies of the North American release featured an issue with the Disc Detection Software that made it impossible to play the game after installing due to the game not recognizing the presence of the disc in the drive. Kalypso reports that it is a known issue. On July 30, 2010 a Kalypso representative stated that US customers who were affected and who had contacted support would receive instructions by e-mail on where to download the patch.[7] The patch was then released publicly on the Disciples III official website.[8] Although, the publicly released patch alone does not resolve the issue and contacting their email support is required.
Leaders

The Thief leader type is now a full featured leader who is able to command squads of units and gain new abilities when leveled. In previous games they were lone agents of sabotage who could not lead their own units.

The Rod Bearer leader type, which was used to claim resources and "terraform" land, has been removed in Disciples III. They are replaced with Guardians who are placed on special "wells" on key points of the map. The Guardians' strength grows with time. Any leader can use these
Units

Disciples 3, presents the same units and growth paths in the three playable races as the previous game, Disciples II, but it changes most of their statistics as the combat gameplay has changed, it also completely enhances the graphics and general appearance of all units
Main Characters

* Inoele: mysterious messenger from the heavens. A beautiful and pure angel, whose mission and purpose remain unclear.
* Lambert: supreme commander of the Imperial Guard. Known amongst the warriors of the Empire as a brave soldier and an honorable leader, earning him the Emperor's favor. This man lives by simple rules: loyalty, courage, and bravery.
* Haarhus: the right hand of Bethrezen and his most loyal servant. He is a great demonic warrior, ready to perform any task in his master's name. His heart is filled with hate for all he sees, and his soul is darker than night. He used to be an elf but was turned into a demon by Bethrezen after his death.
* Arion: commander of a small elven border squad. Despite his young (for an elf) age, he has already earned himself a name for his bravery and judgement
Story

The Highfather has turned away from the land of Nevendaar and its inhabitants. His mind is occupied with the coming fate of his world. During this time, a star falls on the border of the Empire and is seen as a sign by the people. Wise men and prophets attempt to solve its mystery, while humans, elves, and demons send their own heroes to find it. Bethrezen above all others wishes to possess the heavenly messenger and use its power as his own.

Thus begins the journey of the mysterious messenger from the heavens named Inoele. She becomes a symbol of hope for many inhabitants of Nevendaar. A Game of Thrones: Genesis

A Game of Thrones: Genesis game for pc full version download is a strategy video game developed by Cyanide. The game is an adaptation of the A Song of Ice and Fire book series by George R.R. Martin and is the first such video game adaptation. A Game of Thrones: Genesis was published by Focus Home Interactive on PC.[1] The game was released on September 29, 2011.[2]

The game takes place over 1,000 years of the fictional history of Westeros, beginning with the arrival of the Rhoynar led by the warrior-queen Nymeria

Gameplay

Gameplay focuses on capturing nodes -- castles, towns, and goldmines -- with characters. Emphasis is placed on the rock-paper-scissors mechanics of "underhanded" characters rather than the brute force combat strength of traditional realtime strategy games. The goal of the game is to win the Iron Throne and doing so can be done by amassing enough 'prestige' within the game.[3] Each house will have special units and abilities. House Stark will have direwolves, and House Baratheon will have better archers for example.[3]

The game has two modes of play: Versus and Campaign. The game will feature four main facets: diplomacy, military, economic, and underhand

Shadow of Rome

Shadow of Rome free pc game full version download game for pc is a video game for the PlayStation 2 (PS2) console. It is a hybrid fighting/stealth game set in ancient Rome and loosely based around the assassination of Julius Caesar

Gameplay

Shadow Of Rome has two main types of gameplay. There are close quarters combat levels involving Agrippa that take place in various gladiatorial arenas throughout the Roman empire. Secondly, there are stealth-based puzzle-solving adventure levels intermixed between the combat ones involving Octavianus that take place in the vicinity of Rome's bases of political power. In addition to these two main gameplay types, there are a few levels where the player controls Agrippa in chariot races. The viewpoint is third-person perspective behind the hero. Shadow Of Rome can be played at 'Normal' or 'Hard' difficulty levels. Additionally, once the game is beaten on both these settings, a new 'Extreme' difficulty becomes available.

The game is divided into 4 chapters. As the game progresses, Agrippa encounters different types of weapons to use. Weapons break after repeated use. A Salvo is a unique combat technique that Agrippa may perform during battle. Performing multiple different Salvos within a short time period increases the audience's excitement, and increases the chance of them throwing newer, more dangerous weapons to Agrippa for his use.

The frequent acquisition of new weapons from the onlookers is a must, since a player's current weapons have only a limited durability, and so break after a few strikes/blocks. Again, 'Salvo strings' become an essential part of surviving later in the game. Some of them are unique in that they can only be performed in certain events, or against certain foes.

During Octavianus' levels, the player can collect coins that allow the player to purchase special items from the various merchants at the city gates. These items are, mainly, just decorations for Octavianus' room. Buying a certain number of items unlocks special costumes which Octavianus can wear. Achieving certain ranks in the arena battles (Bronze, Silver, or Gold) on the various difficulty levels will unlock certain secrets like minigames and cheats. Completing an arena battle unlocks it in the Battle Selection menu

War on Terror

War on Terror, The Boardgame is a satirical, strategic board game, produced and published in 2006 by TerrorBull Games. War on Terror was originally conceived back in 2003 by Andy Tompkins and Andrew Sheerin, two friends based in Cambridge, England. The initial inspiration for the game came from the imminent Invasion of Iraq but, as a whole, was intended as a reaction and challenge to the counter-productive pursuit[1] of the wider War on Terror. In 2005, Sheerin and Tompkins founded TerrorBull Games and gathered enough financial support from a mixture of friends and acquaintances to put War on Terror into production .

Widespread notoriety has meant the game has had a colourful and, at times, troubled history. Its initial release was met with a barrage of criticism, particularly from the tabloid press. Other businesses refused to be associated with the game and it was also banned from a number of industry fairs around the world. The British police even confiscated it at one point (see Controversy further down). More recently, however, opinion has turned around and War on Terror is now praised by various highly-respected institutions and individuals, among them Amnesty International and John Pilger (see Cultural Impact - Education below).

The gameplay has been likened to a cross between Risk, Diplomacy, Monopoly and Settlers of Catan. Like a number of war board games, the basic goal is to dominate the entire world (or "liberate" in the parlance of the game itself). However, the scope of War on Terror stretches to cover all aspects of war-time politics, not just battlefield tactics. The creators of War on Terror have correspondingly claimed it is the most realistic war simulation around

Concept

War on Terror, The Boardgame can be described as a Risk-like war board game inspired by modern day imperialism and geopolitics. In terms of board game style, it is a mixture of both European and American approaches - utilising elements of chance and chaos as well as strategy and player interactions.

Starting with a tiny presence on the map, each player takes on the role of a budding empire, intent on "liberating" (dominating) countries and continents, controlling oil production and building cities to win the game. An empire controls a region when it has a development there: a village, a town or a city. To expand, an empire can build developments at the border of its current empire if the regions there are unoccupied. Much of the time this will involve some fighting. There are two primary ways to interfere with other empires: fighting wars against them or funding terrorist units in the hope of making them attack your opponent. The game play is essentially card-driven - including the aforementioned warring and terrorist attack. Players obtain two such cards every turn. Additional cards can also be bought using money, which is obtained from oil. Oil is randomly spread out across the map and varies from game to game. An important issue is that when terrorists are no longer dormant and leave the training camp, they act outside the control of the empire which initially funded them, and can turn on that empire if triggered by an opposing empire or the terrorist player. An in-game twist is that defeated players are not out of the game - they become the "terrorist" players, and can still influence the result and perhaps even win. It is also possible to join the terrorist side voluntarily. An important aspect of the game centres around diplomacy and off-board negotiations and dealings. A 'secret message pad' is provided to this end and sees heavy use in a typical game.

An iconic part of the game is the "Axis of Evil": a spinner in the centre of the board which determines which player is "evil" - that player must then wear the Evil balaclava and gets two terrorist cards per turn. Other empires also have a financial incentive to fight wars against the evil empire.

The 'Evil Balaclava' itself has developed a life outside of and independent of the game - something the designers encourage with the Gallery of Evil - and was responsible for the police classifying the game as an offensive weapon (see below

The Golden Compass

The Golden Compass is an action-adventure game developed by Shiny Entertainment and published by Sega.[1] The game is based on the novel-adapted movie of the same name. It was released in December, before the movie, for all major consoles. It was declared the last game by Shiny Entertainment before they merged with The Collective

Story

Based on the book (under both the names The Northern Lights and in some countries, The Golden Compass) and movie, players assume the role of Lyra Belacqua and Iorek Byrnison in Lyra's attempt to get the golden compass (alethiometer) to her uncle, Lord Asriel which she presumes is what the master of Jordan college wanted her to do, and to save her friend, Roger from the General Oblation Board.

In some sections, the game actually follows the book more closely than the film. The sequences in Bolvangar and Svalbard are switched in the film but remain unchanged in the game. Also, some of the ending (unseen in the film) is shown in the game. That makes the game the only place, thus far, to view these deleted scenes

TimeShift

TimeShift  game for pc download full version is a sci-fi first-person shooter developed by Saber Interactive and published by Sierra Entertainment for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It was developed using the Saber 3D engine, v.S-3 and Havok.[2] On August 31, 2007 a demo of TimeShift was released on Xbox Live Marketplace. A PlayStation 3 demo was then released onto the PlayStation Store on November 1, 2007. The game was released on Xbox 360 and Windows on October 30, 2007 in North America; November 1, 2007 in Australia; and November 2, 2007 in Europe

Plot

Scientists from the near future have begun work on creating a viable time machine. The project results in the creation of two devices, the Alpha Suit, a prototype jump suit, and the Beta Suit, a more advanced, so-called military grade model with features the Alpha Suit lacks such as combat-related timeshifting abilities and an integrated artificial intelligence to prevent the creation of temporal paradoxes.

The director of the project, Dr. Aiden Krone, takes the Alpha Suit and travels into the past. Once there he alters the timeline, placing himself as the ruler of the Krone Magistrate that controls a dystopic world.

The protagonist, a fellow scientist whose name is never spoken (never mentioned in the game or manual), then takes the Beta Suit and follows Dr. Krone back to the year 1939 (in an alternate timestream) to a place called Alpha District. During the transport, parts of the Beta suit are damaged forcing the protagonist to assist the Occupant Rebellion against Dr. Krone in hopes of salvaging parts from the Alpha suit.

He is eventually confronted by Krone in a giant war-machine which nearly destroys the Occupant Rebellion, but he succeeds in defeating Krone. As an incapacitated Krone emerges from the wreckage, the protagonist kills him and retrieves the part required to repair the Beta suit. He is thanked by the Occupant commander and returns to the original timeline to save his girlfriend who had been killed by the explosion Krone had caused. He shuts down the bomb and walks up to his girlfriend, who begins to wake up. She reaches out to him although not sure of who he is. As he begins to remove his mask the AI in the suit warns that a paradox is imminent and transports him away.
Gameplay

The key feature of TimeShift is the player's ability to control time: slowing, stopping or even rewinding time more or less at will. This allows a player to stop time to dodge an incoming projectile or steal an enemy's weapon. Specific time-related puzzles also require these abilities. The player's abilities also affect the color of their environment in such that slowing time produces a blueshift, rewinding it produces a yellow haze, and stopping time creates a white filter "haze". The player must use them wisely to make its way through the game. In some parts of the game your time powers are lengthened
Development

The game was originally going to be published by Atari, but publishing rights switched to Sierra on April 20, 2006. On August 31, 2006, TimeShift was delayed for a second time.

Because the game had been delayed several times and was not mentioned very much in gaming news, the press thought that the project had been abandoned. However, on April 10, 2007, Vivendi Games announced that they were giving TimeShift a complete overhaul and were fixing many bugs.[3]

One of a number of changes is that Michael Swift, the game's original protagonist, will not be appearing in the game. After the retooling of the game, Saber introduced "the suit" as the time control device, making the protagonist anonymous. Saber said that this change was to let the player imagine that "you are the protagonist".

Initially, TimeShift was announced for Windows and Xbox 360, but at the 2007 SCEA Gamer's Day, it was announced that the game would also be appearing on the PlayStation 3. All iterations of the revamped game came out on time or early, on all platforms, world-wide in holiday 2007
