If you're new to this particular subgenre of virtual racing, you will find that IndyCar Series delivers enough action and challenge to keep you driving for some time to come.

IndyCar Series is not in the same frighteningly realistic realm of recent Papyrus and Electronic Arts road racing games. If you're new to this particular subgenre of virtual racing, you will find that IndyCar Series delivers enough action and challenge to keep you driving for some time to come. If you're an experienced racing simulation nut, you may be somewhat less enthusiastic.

IndyCar Racing II arrived on retail shelves, there was a falling out in the real-life IndyCar ranks. What followed was a long and protracted conflict that hasn't even ended now, but suffice it to say that IndyCar split into two distinct factions. One of the two blocs--now known as CART--furthered its expansion into other countries and continues to this day to be a truly multidisciplined series, incorporating an assortment of track types from around the globe. The other group, the Indy Racing League, retained the rights to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Indy 500 event, and the IndyCar moniker. Its flagship series, the IndyCar Series, debuted in 1996 with a laughably small five-race season but has grown substantially ever since.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (abbreviated as GTA: Vice City, or simply Vice City) is a sandbox-style action-adventure computer and video game designed in Scotland by Rockstar North (formerly DMA Design) and published by Rockstar Games. It is the second 3D game in the Grand Theft Auto video game franchise and sixth original title overall. It debuted in North America on October 1, 2002 for the PlayStation 2 and was later ported to the Xbox, and Microsoft Windows in 2003. It was made available on Steam on January 4, 2008.[2] Vice City was preceded by Grand Theft Auto III and followed by Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Vice City draws much of its inspiration from 1980s American culture. Set in 1986 in Vice City, a fictional city modeled after Miami, the story revolves around Mafia hitman Tommy Vercetti, who was recently released from prison. After being involved in a drug deal gone wrong, Tommy seeks out those responsible while building a criminal empire and seizing power from other criminal organizations in the city. The game uses a tweaked version of the game engine used in Grand Theft Auto III and similarly presents a huge cityscape, fully populated with buildings, vehicles, and people. Like other games in the series, Vice City has elements from driving games and third-person shooters, and features "open-world" gameplay that gives the player more control over their playing experience.

Upon its release, Vice City became the best-selling video game of 2002. As of July 2006, Vice City was, in the American market, the best-selling PlayStation 2 game of all time. Vice City also appeared on Japanese magazine Famitsu's readers' list of the favorite 100 videogames of 2006, the only fully-Western title on the list.[3] Following this success, Vice City saw releases in Europe, Australia and Japan, as well as a release for the PC. Rockstar Vienna also packaged the game with its predecessor, Grand Theft Auto III, and sold it as Grand Theft Auto: Double Pack for the Xbox. Vice City's setting is also revisited in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, which serves as a prequel to events in Vice City
The player takes on the role of Tommy Vercetti, a member of the Liberty City mafia who has just been released from prison in 1986 after serving 15 years for killing eleven men.[4] Tommy's old boss, Sonny Forelli, fears that Tommy's presence in Liberty City will heighten tensions and bring unwanted attention to his organization's criminal activities.[5] To prevent this, Sonny ostensibly "promotes" Tommy and sends him to Vice City under the guardianship of mafia lawyer Ken Rosenburg to act as their buyer for a series of cocaine deals.[6] During Tommy's first meeting with the drug dealers, an ambush by an unknown party results in the death of Tommy's bodyguards, Harry and Lee, and the cocaine dealer, Vic Vance (The main character of GTA:VCS). Tommy narrowly escapes with his life, but he loses both Forelli's money and the cocaine.[7]

Tommy returns to his hotel room and phones Sonny to inform him of the outcome of the deal. Sonny, furious at the news, threatens Tommy about the consequences of messing with his organization. Tommy promises to retrieve the money and the cocaine and kill whoever was responsible for the ambush.[8] Towards this end, Tommy meets up again with Forelli's lawyer Ken Rosenberg, who leads Tommy to contact a mid-level drug dealer and ex-military Colonel named Juan Garcia Cortez. Cortez expresses regret about Tommy's bad deal and promises that his own lines of inquiry are being made. Tommy also meets Cortez's daughter Mercedes, who becomes Tommy's girlfriend shortly thereafter.

While Tommy waits for the outcome of Cortez's investigation he meets British record producer Kent Paul, real estate mogul Avery Carrington and local free-lance criminal Lance Vance.[9] Lance is eventually revealed to be helping Tommy because his brother and business partner was the dealer who was killed in the ambush, and he too is seeking revenge.[10]

As time passes, Tommy befriends Colonel Cortez and begins to do regular work for him as an errand boy and hitman. One of his jobs for Cortez is to provide protection for a drug lord Ricardo Diaz during a deal with the Cuban gang Los Cabrones, which is ambushed by a gang of Haitians. Tommy does his job and saves Diaz's life, leading Diaz to begin hiring Tommy for his own agenda. Tommy takes this work because it pays well, in spite of his distaste for Diaz's character.

Tommy learns from Cortez that Cortez's own lieutenant, Gonzalez, was partially responsible for the ambush on Tommy's cocaine deal, and asks Tommy to kill Gonzalez with a chainsaw as a favour. Afterwards Cortez lays suspicion for the ambush on Diaz. Tommy initially plans to continue the status quo to prepare for his own attack, but his hand is forced when Lance Vance attempts to take revenge on Diaz by himself and fails. Lance is captured and taken to a junkyard to be tortured. Tommy rushes across the city and rescues him. With the die cast, the two move quickly to raid Diaz's mansion with assault rifles provided by Lance. They wound and then execute Diaz outside his office. With Diaz dead, and Colonel Cortez fleeing the country on his boat to escape arrest, the established drug empires in Vice City quickly crumble and Tommy and Lance personally take over, becoming Vice City's cocaine kingpins.

Tommy becomes the head of his own organization, the Vercetti crime family, and the more powerful and rich Tommy becomes, the more Lance begins to exhibit paranoid and sociopathic behaviors, to the point that he begins to physically abuse his own bodyguards and constantly calls Tommy in states of hysteria.

Tommy also makes alliance with Umberto Robina's Los Cabrones against Auntie Poulet's Haitians, even though he is at the same time hypnotized by Poulet's voodoo into helping the Haitians. Tommy and Poulet part ways after he helps fight off a Cuban assault on Hatian turf, after which he becomes unwelcome near their neighborhoods. In the end though, Tommy and the Cubans sneak explosives into the Haitian drug factory disguised in Haitian gang cars and blow it up, effectively ending the Haitian gang's power.

As his drug business expands, Tommy buys assests in nearly bankrupt companies such as a car lot, a cab depot, a strip club, a night club, a boathouse, a print shop for counterfeit money, an ice-cream company that is revealed to be a front for drugs, and an adult film company, all of which he turns back into competitive businesses. He also becomes a personal bodyguard to a rock band, an honorary member of a biker gang, and pulls off a major bank heist.

Eventually the Forelli family discovers that Tommy has taken over much of the action in Vice City without sending a cut to Sonny as required. Sonny sends collectors to force money out of Tommy's assets, but Tommy disposes of them. An angered Sonny Forelli arrives in Vice City with a small army of mafiosi, intent on taking their tribute by force. When Sonny and his henchmen arrive at the Vercetti Estate, Tommy attempts to give them their tribute in counterfeit money, and confronts Sonny over the hit he was supposed to pull on one man that turned into an eleven-man killing spree. However, Lance, having come to resent Tommy's substantial share of their profits, reveals to Tommy that he made a back-room deal with the Forelli's to topple the Vercetti family, and informs Sonny that the tribute money is counterfeit. In the game's climax, Tommy stands alone as Lance, Sonny, and Sonny's henchmen raid Tommy's Mansion.

Tommy first chases, ridicules, and finally kills Lance on the rooftop helipad, then storms downstairs where he faces off with Sonny. During the gunfight, Sonny reveals he is the one who set Tommy up fifteen years before, sending him to kill the eleven men who were expecting him. Tommy eventually kills Sonny in the main hall of his estate. With his enemies vanquished, Tommy establishes himself as the undisputed crime kingpin of Vice City. Ken Rosenberg, who has worked with Tommy throughout the events of the game, becomes his right-hand man.

X-Men: The Official Game

X-Men: The Official Game is Activision's tie-in video game to the 2006 film X-Men: The Last Stand. The game covers the events of the films X2: X-Men United and X-Men: The Last Stand, specifically following the characters of Wolverine, Iceman, and Nightcrawler. It also bridges the gap between the two films, explaining why Nightcrawler is not present for The Last Stand, and also introduces new foes to the X-Men film canon, such as HYDRA. The game was released on the PlayStation 2, Xbox, Xbox 360, developed by Z-Axis; Nintendo GameCube, ported by Hypnos; Microsoft Windows, ported by Beenox; Game Boy Advance, developed by WayForward Technologies; and Nintendo DS, developed by Amaze Entertainment

Writers

Zak Penn and Chris Claremont co-wrote the story for the game. Penn is the co-writer of X-Men: The Last Stand, and Claremont was a longtime writer of the X-Men comic books, establishing the personae for many of the "new" X-Men team, which featured then new members Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Banshee, and Wolverine. Claremont is perhaps best known for the Dark Phoenix Saga. Together, the two have woven a tale that fits in between X2: X-Men United and X-Men: The Last Stand continuity
Storyline

Professor Xavier asks the X-Men to return to Alkali Lake to retrieve irreplaceable parts to Cerebro. Nightcrawler is asked to infiltrate the remnants of William Stryker's base with his teleportation ability, since the weapons systems were somehow operational. Once inside, he finds out that Stryker had a backup plan to destroy the mutants — mutant hunting robots called Sentinels. Working together, Storm and Wolverine find an A.I. module for a Sentinel when agents of HYDRA (an organization of terrorists) arrive to take the remaining Sentinels to their own base. It is revealed that HYDRA had designed the robots for Stryker. Inside the base, Wolverine discovers that HYDRA had employed one of his former adversaries — Lady Deathstrike, who was able to survive an apparent death in X2 after being pumped full of adamantium.

Nightcrawler and Colossus destroy the generators for Alkali Lake. Nightcrawler is then plagued by visions of a youthful, angry Jason Stryker, who continues to remind Nightcrawler that he left him to die. It is revealed that Jason Stryker is alive and well, and wants to continue his father's dream of seeing all mutants destroyed, and escapes with agents of HYDRA, and the Master Mold. Storm and Wolverine then Battle Lady Deathstrike, until Deathstrike eventually escapes the facility with the remnants of HYDRA, as well as the remaining Sentinels and the Master Mold. Wolverine tells Storm he is going to follow HYDRA. He promises to return as he hitches a ride on Deathstrike's Tokyo-bound helicopter. Iceman, Storm, Colossus, and Nightcrawler return to the Institute.

Iceman is told to fight Pyro, who is threatening to destroy a nuclear reactor. After a battle, Pyro escapes and Iceman meets up with the rest of the team, after Xavier praises his skills in the battle. Nightcrawler and Storm face off against one man who is many: James Madrox, the Multiple Man. Nightcrawler defeats Multiple Man, and he is to go to a prison for high-powered mutant criminals. This storyline is somewhat picked up in X-Men: The Last Stand, when Magneto and his new Brotherhood free Multiple Man from the Prison Convoy.

Jason activates the Master Mold in Tokyo, causing the Sentinels to be activated. They begin to hunt down mutants, capturing them, and Iceman sets out to prevent this from happening, and destroys many of the Sentinels.

Wolverine infiltrates HYDRA's main base, and cuts through many of their forces. As the Silver Samurai consults Deathstrike about her feelings of dishonor, Wolverine interrupts their discussion. Yuriko announces she'll handle Logan, and the Silver Samurai exits the Dojo. A battle ensues, ending with Wolverine slicing a rope suspending a large wooden platform; the large structure breaks through the floorboards, taking Deathstrike and Yukiro with it. Wolverine then tracks the Silver Samurai to the roof of the facility; Silver Samurai reveals that he is himself a mutant, and if Wolverine is able to honorably defeat him in combat he will tell Wolverine how to defeat the Sentinels through the Master Mold. Conquering Samurai in combat, Wolverine gains the information, and tells the team how to defeat Master Mold.

Xavier telepathically contacts Magneto, and asks him for help in facing the Sentinel forces. Magneto agrees to a final team-up, saying the next time, it will be as foes again. The X-Men, meanwhile, are attacked by new, towering Giant Sentinels, leaving Iceman to defeat the robots. Iceman wipes out these Sentinels, as Master Mold lurks in the distance. Magneto arrives and uses his powers of magnetism to crush the many Sentinels attacking the mutants. The temporary alliance over, Magneto sends Sabretooth after a new recruit for his Brotherhood: Jason Stryker.

Arriving inside the Master Mold, Nightcrawler must disable its control center, while he is aided by a kindly apparition of Jason Stryker, who helps point the way through the maze of the Mold's body. When he arrives at the Master Mold's command center, he finds Jason, who hates the younger "ghost" Jason, a manifestation of his split psyche. Wolverine arrives in the Master Mold, and Jason uses his powers to make Wolverine fight himself in a mental battle in the Weapon X Lab, to fight his own demons. Wolverine is victorious against a horde of himself, and he heads to the Master Mold's head. Jason tries to get rid of Nightcrawler by entering his mind and trying to convince Kurt that he is not a mutant, but a real demon. Nightcrawler disables the Master Mold's neural net, changed by Jason to look like a demonic realm. Meanwhile, Iceman destroys the core of the Master Mold.

Sabretooth works his way to Wolverine and Nightcrawler's location, knocking Nightcrawler out and taking the wheelchair bound Jason, when Wolverine arrives and attacks his nemesis. The two have a vicious battle, ending with Logan throwing Sabretooth from a great height to be impaled below. Jason dies in the battle, the good part of his psyche winning, and tells Nightcrawler it is okay for him to leave him this time.

With the Sentinels, Master Mold, and Jason out of the picture, the X-Men head home. Nightcrawler tells Xavier he does not want to be an X-Man, for their lives are too violent and he is a peaceful man. Xavier tells him he is always welcome in the Mansion, and Kurt leaves, explaining his absence in X-Men: The Last Stand
Gameplay

Players control the actions of several X-Men related characters, most notably Wolverine, Nightcrawler, and Iceman, as they uncover a plot to eradicate mutants. Sometimes, another X-Man will help the player's character battle
Consoles

Wolverine's levels involve fighting hordes of soldiers, armed with weapons. He can retract his claws, but any time a button is pressed, they are extracted. Wolverine heals minor wounds, reflected as yellow on his Life Gauge, but when his minor wound damage empties, all wounds are considered major, taking off his actual life bar. Wolverine can't target lock like his allies, he can only block, which can fend off weak attacks only until it is built up. Wolverine, after he has attacked for a time, builds up a Fury Bar, which when activated increases his healing rate, and his Strength. It also changes his attacks' appearances.

Nightcrawler's levels involve mostly stealth missions, running along pipes in the ceiling, and teleporting. Nightcrawler can teleport to any area within his visual range. Like Wolverine, Nightcrawler heals by holding down a button, only Nightcrawler constantly takes life gauge damage, and when he heals, it is called "Shadowmeld" or "Shadow Aura", a nod to the comic books (Nightcrawler becomes invisible in shadow). Nightcrawler can teleport behind and combo-attack several foes during a brawl.

Iceman's levels all take place at high speeds as he continuously rides on his trademark ice slide. Iceman creates an icy path in front of him, flying through the air while shooting his ice beam and ice projectiles. Iceman's attacks are an Ice Beam, which cools off fires and damages foes; Frost Shield, which will cancel any damage he takes while it is "up"; and Hailstorm, which is his main attack, hurling several balls of ice at targets. Iceman will heal automatically as long as he doesn't incur damage for an amount of time

fifa 2000

FIFA, also known as FIFA Football or FIFA Soccer, is a series of association football video games, released annually by Electronic Arts under the EA Sports label. While there was no major competition when EA released the first titles in their Madden NFL and NHL series, football video games such as Sensible Soccer, Kick Off and Match Day had been developed since the late 1980s and were already competitive in the games market when EA Sports announced a football game as the next addition to their EA Sports label.

When the series began in late 1993 it was notable for being the first to have an official licence from FIFA, the world governing body of football. The latest installments in the series contain many exclusively-licenced leagues including league and teams from around the world, including the English Premier League and Football League, Italian Serie A, Spanish La Liga, German Bundesliga, French Ligue 1, Dutch Eredivisie, Mexican Primera División, American Major League Soccer, South Korean K-League and Australian Hyundai A-League, allowing the use of real leagues, clubs, and player names and likenesses within the games.

The main series has been complemented by additional installments based on single major tournaments, such as the FIFA World Cup, UEFA European Football Championship, and UEFA Champions League, as well as a series of football management titles.

As of 2011, the FIFA franchise has been localized into 18 languages and available in 51 countries. The series has sold more than 100 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling video game franchises.[1] Also FIFA 11 holds the record for the "fastest selling sports game ever" with over 2.6 million games sold and over $150 million generated at retail in less than a week of the game being released
History

The key points of EA's early advertising programs were the isometric view of the pitch, an innovation when other games used either top down, side scrolling or bird's eye views, as well as detailed graphics and animations, and of course the FIFA endorsement. It was shipped for Christmas 1993, named FIFA International Soccer, and was released for most of the popular console and computer platforms of the time.

While FIFA 95 did not add much other than the ability to play with club teams, FIFA 96 pushed the boundaries. For the first time with real player names by obtaining the FIFPro license, the PlayStation, PC, 32X and Sega Saturn versions used EA's "Virtual Stadium" engine, with 2D sprite players moving around a real-time 3D stadium. FIFA 97 improved on this with polygonal models for players and added an indoor soccer mode, but an early pinnacle was reached with FIFA: Road to World Cup 98. This version featured much improved graphics, a complete World Cup with qualifying rounds (including all national teams) and refined gameplay. Months later, World Cup 98, EA's first officially-licensed tournament game, gave each team a unique kit and broke a sequence of poor tournament-based video games started by U.S. Gold's World Cup Carnival in 1986 and continued until Gremlin Interactive's Euro 96.

FIFA games have been met with some criticism, such as for the minimal improvements each title features over its predecessor. As the console market expanded, FIFA was challenged directly by other titles such as Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer (known as Winning Eleven in Japan and the US). Both FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer have a large following but FIFA sales could rise as much as 30 percent year-over-year in Europe, making FIFA the most profitable EA Sports title, thanks to its global audience and lower license costs compared to Madden

FIFA World Cup 2002

FIFA World Cup 2002 is the official World Cup video game published by EA Sports.
An amalgamation between the game engines of FIFA 2002 and FIFA 2003, the game still incorporates the power bar for shots and crosses but with a steeper learning curve and customisation of the chances of being penalised by the match referee. Some kits are licensed, along with player likeness and the stadia of the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Unlike the previous games in the FIFA series, the game had an original soundtrack performed by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. It was released for Windows, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, GameCube, and Xbox

Reception

2002 FIFA World Cup received fairly positive reviews. Gamespot gave the GameCube version 7.4, while IGN gave it a Gamerankings gave it 80
Lawsuit

Bayern Munich and German international goalkeeper Oliver Kahn successfully sued Electronic Arts for their inclusion of him in the game without his prior consent despite EA reaching an agreement with FIFPro, the body that represents all FIFA players. As a result, EA was banned from selling copies of the game in Germany and was forced to financially compensate Kahn

Platoon

Platoon is a 1986 American war film written and directed by Oliver Stone and stars Tom Berenger, Willem Dafoe, Charlie Sheen & Keith David. It is the first of Stone's Vietnam War trilogy, followed by 1989's Born on the Fourth of July and 1993's Heaven & Earth.[1]
Stone wrote the story based upon his experiences as a U.S. infantryman in Vietnam, as a counter to the vision of the war portrayed in John Wayne's The Green Berets.[2] The film won the Academy Award for Best Picture of 1986. In 2007, the American Film Institute placed Platoon at #83 in their "AFI's 100 Years... 100 Movies" poll. British television channel Channel 4 voted Platoon as the 6th greatest war film ever made, behind Full Metal Jacket and ahead of A Bridge

Too Far
Plot

In 1967, Chris Taylor (Charlie Sheen) is a young American who has abandoned college for combat duty in Vietnam. Upon arrival, he sees dead soldiers in body bags being loaded into his plane. Taylor and several other replacements have been assigned to Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, "somewhere near the Cambodian border." Worn down by the exhausting work and poor living conditions, his enthusiasm for the war wanes and he develops an admiration for the more experienced soldiers, despite their reluctance to extend their friendship.

One night while on ambush patrol, his sleeping unit is set upon by a squad of Vietnam People's Army (North Vietnamese Army, NVA) soldiers, who are forced to retreat following a gunfight. Gardner, a fellow new recruit, is killed, and another soldier, Tex, is maimed by "friendly fire" from a grenade thrown by Sergeant O'Neill (John C. McGinley). Despite having passed the watch duty to Junior, a more experienced soldier who fell asleep, Taylor is blamed for the casualties. Staff Sergeant Barnes (Tom Berenger) criticizes Taylor and holds him as a scapegoat, while Sergeant Elias (Willem Dafoe) defends Taylor. Taylor discovers a light wound to his neck, and he is sent to the field hospital for treatment.

Taylor returns to base from the hospital and gains acceptance from a tight-knit group in his unit (the "Heads") that socializes, dances, and consumes drugs in an underground clubhouse. He finds a mentor in a poorly-educated but wise veteran, King (Keith David). Next door, more conservative members of the unit drink beer and play cards. As the patrols continue, Taylor becomes a more seasoned soldier, no longer standing out amongst the others. During one patrol, a soldier (Manny) goes missing. His mutilated body is found tied to a post close by. Two other soldiers are killed by a booby trap while searching an abandoned bunker. The platoon soon reaches a nearby village, where a food and weapons cache is discovered. The soldiers explore the village. In one house, Taylor discovers a mentally and physically disabled young man and an elderly woman hiding in a ditch beneath the floor. Taylor "snaps," taunting the man and shooting at the ground before his foot, forcing him to "dance." Sergeant O'Neill, responding to the shots fired, tells the group to vacate the hut. Bunny (Kevin Dillon) turns to leave, then attacks the one-legged man with the butt of his shotgun, bludgeoning him to death.

Despite the villagers' denials, Barnes believes they are aiding Viet Cong soldiers and shoots a defiant woman (the village chief's wife) in the head. When the murdered woman's daughter cries out, Barnes takes the child at gunpoint, threatening to shoot her next if the villagers do not reveal the whereabouts of the Viet Cong. Sergeant Elias arrives and gets into a fistfight with Barnes over the incident. Second Lieutenant Wolfe (Mark Moses) ends the fight, and orders the men to burn the village. As the men leave, Taylor comes across a group of soldiers (including Morehouse, Bunny, Tony and Junior) raping a Vietnamese girl. Taylor stops the attack and rescues the girl.

Upon returning to base, Elias reports Barnes' actions to Captain Harris (Dale Dye), who cannot afford to remove Barnes due to a lack of personnel; he warns the sergeants to "cease fire." Harris says that if he found out an illegal killing took place, then "there will be a court-martial." Taylor speaks of this as "a civil war in the platoon. Half with Elias, half with Barnes." On their next patrol the platoon is ambushed and becomes pinned down in a firefight. Elias takes three men, including Taylor and Rhah, and goes to intercept flanking enemy troops. Barnes orders the rest of the platoon to retreat to be airlifted from the area, and goes back into the jungle to find Elias' group. After sending his men back, Barnes finds Elias, fires three rounds at Elias', hitting him, and leaves him for dead. Barnes reaches the helicopter, telling the others that Elias is dead. After they take off, a severely wounded Elias emerges from the jungle, running from a group of NVA soldiers. Taylor glances over at Barnes and reads the apprehension on his face as the helicopter circles in to rescue Elias. However, Elias dies before he can be rescued, after being hit several more times.

At the base, Taylor attempts to talk his group into killing Barnes in retaliation. A drunk Barnes overhears this, and enters the room, taunting and daring them to kill him. No one takes up the offer, but as Barnes leaves, Taylor attacks him. Barnes manages to get the upper hand, and holds a knife to Taylor's face. However, Rhah (Francesco Quinn) talks Barnes out of killing Taylor, so he leaves, but not before cutting him under the eye.

The platoon is later sent back to the ambush area in order to build and maintain heavy defensive positions against potential attack. Taylor shares a foxhole with Francis (Corey Glover). That night a large attack occurs, (Stone based the attack on a real life battle he survived) and the defensive lines are broken. Bunny, Junior, and Wolfe are killed, while O'Neill survives in his foxhole by hiding under a dead soldier. Captain Harris orders his air support to expend all remaining ordinance inside his perimeter. During the chaos, Barnes and Taylor come face-to-face. Just before Barnes can pummel Taylor, with his E-tool, both men are knocked unconscious by the napalm bursts. A wounded Taylor regains consciousness the next morning and finds Barnes, who is also wounded. Taylor aims an enemy AK-47 at Barnes, who dares him to pull the trigger. Taylor shoots Barnes three times in the torso, killing him. Taylor is about to commit suicide before American reinforcements encounter him. Taylor is loaded onto the helicopter. Francis, who survived the battle unharmed but deliberately stabbed himself, reminds Taylor that because they have been wounded twice, they can go home. O'Neill, who also survived the battle, is told he will replace Barnes. The helicopter flies away and Taylor weeps as he stares down at the destruction

Tomb Raider: Underworld  free pc game full version download is the eighth instalment of the Tomb Raider series. The story continues from the events in Tomb Raider: Legend as a direct sequel, but also addresses unexplained plot elements by association with Tomb Raider: Anniversary; the 2007 remake of the original Tomb Raider (1996).[9] The three games are subsequently merged into the renowned stand-alone Tomb Raider Trilogy of the late 2000s, by the series' second continuation developer Crystal Dynamics. Underworld is the third game in the series to be developed by Crystal Dynamics and is also the first Tomb Raider game to be released on the PlayStation 3.

Underworld is an action-adventure video game with different versions developed by Crystal Dynamics, Buzz Monkey Software, and Santa Cruz Games, all published by Eidos Interactive. Crystal Dynamics developed the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC versions, which were released in November 2008. Santa Cruz Games developed the Nintendo DS version, which was also released in November 2008. The Wii and PlayStation 2 versions were developed by Buzz Monkey Software, although the PS2 version saw a January 2009 release in Europe and March 2009 in North America. Eidos released two new chapters of Tomb Raider: Underworld, Beneath the Ashes and Lara's Shadow, developed by Crystal Dynamics, as exclusive downloadable content for the Xbox 360 on the Xbox Live Marketplace in February and March 2009 respectively.

Underworld received mostly positive reviews for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC versions. Critics praised the environments, Lara's motion captured movements, story, puzzles, exploration, graphics and the less linear style of gameplay, although some aimed at its "haywire" camera angles and "dodgy" combat system. The PS2 and Wii versions received mostly negative reviews. Most cited them as having poor graphics, being oversimplified and "dumbed" down, and being full of bugs.

As of 27 February 2009, the game has sold 2.6 million copies worldwide. On 25 May 2009 it was announced Tomb Raider: Underworld would be re-released as part of the Xbox Classics and Platinum Range lines for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, respectively
Gameplay
Differences from previous iterations in the series are that Lara's environment reproduces a more "interactive world that reacts and remembers", such that footprints left in the mud or mud transferred to Lara's knee from kneeling on the ground is washed away by rain, the bodies of the foes she encounters remain where she killed them, and any destruction to the environment she causes are permanent.[11] According to creative director Eric Lindstrom, this is "to not only reward the player for the effect they're having on the world, but to give them navigational aids."[12] The game uses an animation blending system that allows Lara to interact dynamically with her environment, such as pushing foliage aside with one or two hands, depending on if she is carrying a weapon.[13] It also features a "hybrid lighting model that combines dynamic lights with carefully created light maps" and a weather system that changes the environment, for example, "If Lara’s negotiating a wet ledge she’s more apt to slip or lose grip," which makes "the environment ... her adversary" for a large part of the game.[11][14]

Previously seen separate aspects of gameplay were combined for a new experience. Lindstrom explained that "in the past, there was climbing, and there was shooting, and there was puzzle solving. And they often didn't overlap. We've now integrated all of those elements."[15] This instalment also features a new melee combat system, requiring Lara in some instances to use "direct combat and evasive manoeuvres to distance herself from her attacker". Notably, Lara's bike, among other things, is a key component in solving the puzzles she will encounter in her adventure.[11] Pick-ups have multiple uses as weapons and tools in interaction with the environment, and Lindstrom stated that Lara "can also split up her guns and fire at two different targets simultaneously,"[12] or hold an item with one hand and fire a gun with the other.[15] The grappling hook can be stretched taut and used to pull objects off ledges unlike in previous iterations, illustrating what project lead Rob Pavey said, that "Lara will be able to do anything that you'd expect her to be able to do," which he called "the big theme this year."[16] Lindstrom describes this as "a philosophy called 'What Could Lara Do?'—WCLD. It's short-hand for having the player be able to use their own intuition about what someone with her abilities should be able to do in an environment such as this, and consistency across the different mechanics and abilities. If she can throw a grenade, then if she can pick up this pole, why can't she throw it?" Crystal Dynamics also aimed to make the game non-linear, unlike Tomb Raider: Legend, and eliminate the need for hint icons that indicate the ability to interact with objects.[12]

The interactive cut scenes from previous titles were replaced with "adrenaline moments". Instead of specific button presses, time slows down and gives the player a chance to get out of harm's way while retaining complete control of Lara
Synopsis

Tomb Raider: Underworld begins with Lara Croft in the halls of her own mansion home when an explosion suddenly sets the whole building ablaze. Making her way to the front door, Lara is surprisingly fired upon by one of her closest friends, Zip. The game then rewinds back in time to a week before the explosion, just after the events of Tomb Raider Legend. Lara is searching for Avalon, the mythical resting place of King Arthur, hoping it will lead her to an explanation for the disappearance of her long lost mother. Underneath the Mediterranean Sea Lara discovers an ancient temple designating itself as "Niflheim", one of the many Norse underworlds. Deep within, she discovers one of Thor's gauntlets. Most of the gauntlet crumbles to dust when she touches it, except for a small stone on the wrist that glows with an eerie blue light. Some mercenaries arrive and knock Lara out. When she comes to, the lead mercenary detonates a bomb that seals Lara in the gauntlet chamber, while remarking that "Amanda Evert sends her regards."

Lara escapes the temple and returns to the surface, noticing a large cargo ship nearby. Lara boards the ship. During a firefight between Lara and the guards, an explosion occurs and the boat begins to sink. While evacuating, Lara comes face to face with an old enemy, Jacqueline Natla, whom Lara believed she had killed in Tomb Raider Anniversary, but who had actually been discovered and imprisoned by Amanda. Natla tells Lara that the Norse underworld, Helheim and Avalon are one and the same and that she will need to find Thor's Hammer to open the Underworld. Lara soon discovers that she will have to find Thor's other gauntlet and his belt if she wants to find and wield the hammer. Natla provides Lara with a starting point for her search in this quest - coastal Thailand.

In Thailand, Lara discovers another very ancient Norse complex, upon which a relatively newer Hindu temple had been built. Lara does not find the second gauntlet in the Norse ruins, but she finds evidence that her father had found the gauntlet there and removed it before he died. She also discovers a message that reveals that her father and Natla had been working together at some point and that the relationship had not ended amicably.

Lara is able to deduce where her father hid the missing gauntlet - buried beneath her grandfather's tomb, within Croft Manor. She finds a secret old chapel buried beneath her home, as well as her father's secret office. Upon his desk, Lara discovers the gauntlet as well as a tape-recorded message, warning her that Helhiem may contain a powerful weapon that could put the world in danger. Lara is attacked by monsters called thralls, but escapes and returns to the mansion, proper, leading back to the opening events of the game.

Zip claims that "Lara" broke in to her own safe and detonated a bomb in the mansion. When Lara returns to the burning office to recover the security footage, she finds herself faced with a doppelgänger of herself created by Natla, who is much faster and stronger than Lara. The doppelgänger kills Alister Fletcher, another close friend of Lara's. After his emotional death, Lara resolves to continue with her quest and prevent Natla and Amanda from recovering any of Thor's artefacts.

In Mexico, Lara finds more Norse ruins. Here, she finds both Thor's Belt and some pictographs linking the weapon in Helheim to Jörmungandr, the mythical Norse sea-serpent that encircles the world. Her next stop are ruins on Jan Mayen Island that correlate to Valhalla. It is here that Lara finally recovers Thor's Hammer. In the meantime, Zip has managed to track Amanda down to a sister-ship of the one Lara sank earlier. Armed with Mjolnir, Lara boards the vessel and interrogates Natla once again. Amanda interrupts the meeting, but before she and Lara start fighting, the doppelgänger (under Natla's command), throws her down a shaft, seemingly to her death. Natla provides Lara with the coordinates of Helheim, but points out that Lara does not know the Ritual of Odin, which is needed to open its gates. Lara reluctantly strikes a bargain with Natla and frees her from her cell.

They rendezvous in the outer chambers of the Helheim complex, deep below the Arctic Sea. From a distance, Lara watches Natla perform the ritual and then fly away. With the ritual performed, Lara is able to use Mjolnir to open the gates of Helheim. She battles her way through hoards of thralls and yetis protecting the secret at the heart of the city. Along the way, Lara discovers the horrifying truth of her mother's fate - she has been turned into a thrall. When her mother's undead body advances threateningly upon her, Lara is forced to shoot and "kill" her, an act that greatly upsets Lara.

Natla reveals the true extent of her manipulation of Lara, also revealing that she was the one who killed Lord Richard Croft when he saw Natla's intentions. Natla goes, saying 'she has a serpent to raise', leaving the Doppelgänger to kill Lara. Amanda saves Lara's life and Lara pursues Natla, who is activating an ancient doomsday device. It is revealed that Jörmungandr, the Midgard Serpent, was a Norse metaphor for the many tectonic divisions that encircle the world, beneath the seas. The doomsday device was built upon the most unstable junction of these lines and its activation would cause massive volcanic activity across the whole planet and the destruction of most of humanity, leaving Natla to be the ruler of what's left.

Lara successfully destabilises the device and while Natla desperately tries to repair the damage, Lara throws Mjolnir at Natla, sending her down into the pool of deadly Eitr below and bringing the Midgard Serpent down with it. But this causes the pool to slowly rise and, as Amanda comes round from holding off the Yeti Thralls, she recalls the legend of Thor and the Serpent, ending 'We'll die here, just like your mother'. Lara suddenly sees a dais like the one that brought her mother to Helheim and together Lara and Amanda repair and use it, teleporting back to the temple in Nepal (from Tomb Raider Legend). Lara and Amanda have one final face-off, before Amanda walks away and Lara bids one final farewell to her mother, then too departs

made man

A made man, also known as a wiseguy, made guy, goodfella, man of honor, or Mafioso (plural: Mafiosi), is someone who has been officially inducted into the Sicilian or American Mafia (Cosa Nostra

Overview

Traditionally, in order to become a made member of the Mafia, the inductee had to be a male of full Southern Italian (preferably Sicilian) descent. Today, it is believed that this requirement has been loosened so that males of half Italian descent through their father's line can also be inducted. Other sources say that a half-Italian through his mother's line can also be acceptable if he has an Italian surname.[1] Because many third and fourth generation Italian Americans also have non-Italian ancestry (due to the mixing of ethnic groups commonplace in the United States), having an Italian surname seems to have become the prerequisite for Mafia membership. Some examples of made members who are not of full Italian descent include John A. Gotti, whose mother was of Russian descent, and "Cadillac" Frank Salemme, former boss of the Patriarca Cosa Nostra family in Providence, Rhode Island, who was half Irish. A further example was Johnny Rocco who was made under the Gambino crime family in 1952.[citation needed] Johnny adopted the name 'Rocco' in 1943 out of homage to his Italian employers, prior to that Johnny was known under the name of Hing and had part German and Mongolian descent.[citation needed]

An associate of a crime family who was in the police force or attended a police academy cannot become a made member of the Mafia.[citation needed] For example, DeMeo crew member Henry Borelli would never become a made man in the Gambino family, since he had taken the New York City Police Department entrance exam in the early 1970s, in spite of his usefulness as an enforcer and hitman. However, an exception to this rule includes Scarfo crime family capo Ron Previte, who was a former member of the Philadelphia police force.[2]

Before being inducted, a potential made man is required to carry out a contract killing; any murders committed for personal reasons "do not count" in this respect.[3] Committing one's first contracted killing is referred to as "making your bones."[3] Until the 1980s, one only had to be involved in a murder (such as driving the getaway car) in order to fulfill the requirements. It was not until the Donnie Brasco trials, which revealed that the Mafia was about to make undercover FBI agent Joe Pistone, that a rule was made that potential inductees must actually perform a killing.

When introducing one made man to another, the phrase "a friend of ours"[4] is used, indicating that he is a member and business can be discussed openly with him. If the person being introduced is an associate or civilian to whom business should not be mentioned, the phrase "a friend of mine" is used instead. Made men are the only ones who can rise through the ranks of Cosa Nostra, from soldier to caporegime (captain, or "capo" for short), "consigliere," "underboss," and "boss
Induction

To become made, an associate would first have to be sponsored by a made man.[5] According to Pistone's accounts in his book The Way of the Wiseguy, a potential made man must now have at least two sponsors, rather than only one as in the time before the Brasco operation. The sponsor knows the associate and vouches for his good character and abilities. Although a capo or other senior member(s) will determine the prospective member's credibility, ultimately the decision lies with the boss of the family he will be inducted into. When the crime family "opens the books" (i.e., accepts new members), an associate will get a call telling him to get ready and dressed.[6] He will then be picked up and taken to the room where the ceremony will take place with the other accepted candidates. An inductee will be required to take the oath of Omertà, the Mafia code of silence. Though the ceremony varies from family to family, it usually involves the pricking of the trigger finger of the inductee, then dripping blood onto a picture of a Saint, typically St. Francis of Assisi or the Virgin Mary, which is then set alight in his hand and kept burning until the inductee has sworn the oath of loyalty to his new "family," e.g., "As this card burns, may my soul burn in Hell if I betray the oath of Omertà," or "As burns this saint, so will burn my soul. I enter alive and I will have to get out dead.
Privileges

After the ceremony the inductee is then a made man and a full member of the Mafia hierarchy. Inducted as a soldier (Italian: soldato), he is given certain responsibilities and privileges. The made man now enjoys the full protection and backing of the Mafia establishment as long as he remains in favor and earns enough money, of which a percentage of his earnings are passed further up the hierarchy.

To attack, let alone kill, a made man for any reason without the permission of those Mafiosi higher up in the organization is seen by the mob as a cardinal sin which will normally be met with severe retaliation, in many cases regardless of whether the perpetrator has a legitimate grievance.[8] The made man was traditionally seen as "untouchable" by the law as well as by his fellow criminals, a man to be respected and feared

The Matrix: Path of Neo

The Matrix: Path of Neo free pc game full version download is the third video game based on the Matrix series and the second developed by Shiny Entertainment. Players control the character Neo, participating in scenes from the films. It was released on November 8, 2005 in North America.

In Shiny Entertainment's first licensed Matrix game, Enter the Matrix, only sideline characters were playable. It did not feature the series' main protagonist Neo, and due to its nature as an extension of the films' storyline, had few recreations of scenes in the film trilogy. David Perry, president of Shiny Entertainment Inc, has stated that Path of Neo is "basically the game that gamers wanted first time around... The Neo Game!

Story

This game allows the player to participate in many of the major action scenes in the films. Most of these sequences, picked by the movie directors themselves, are taken from the first film in the series.[4][5]

At the start of the game, the player is hacker Thomas Anderson, and does not possess any of the powers that the character will later discover as Neo. As the game continues, players learn new skills and techniques, equipping Neo for the final showdown with Agent Smith. These additional skills may be learned both in training levels and in the main game. Many of these skills are used by Neo in the trilogy, including the bullet dodge, bullet stop, and flight. A number of weapons are available in the game, consisting of both melee weapons (including various types of swords, staves, and escrimas) and firearms (assault rifle, submachine gun, pistol etc.).

The game also allows the player to meet many of the characters in the films, including Trinity, Morpheus and the Merovingian, amongst others.

The game uses film excerpts as cut scenes throughout the game at certain milestones. This footage includes clips from the original Matrix theatrical films, and from other sources, including the short film series, The Animatrix and Shiny Entertainment's first Matrix game, Enter the Matrix. Despite these live-action and other cinematic additions, players who have had no previous exposure to The Matrix films might have difficulties in creating a clear picture of the storyline due to their jumbled-up, incoherent sequence
Characters

Neo - The One, game protagonist and the character the player controls throughout the game.
Trinity - Neo's love interest and First mate on the Nebuchadnezzar.
Morpheus - Captain of the Nebuchadnezzar, he aids Neo at various points throughout the game (Laurence Fishburne is the only actor from the film series to reprise his character's voice in the game).
Agent Smith (later referred to as merely "Smith") - A program (later Exile) within the Matrix. He is the primary antagonist and Neo's arch-nemesis.
Apoc and Switch - Red pills. Apoc and Switch are helpful fighters who always try to kill.
Merovingian - Rules over a personal empire of exiles like himself.
Head Bouncer/Doberman Leader - Exile and Head Bouncer at Club Hel, a nightclub owned by the Merovingian. Leads the Doberman, a wolf-like group of henchmen.
Head of Security - Exile and the head of security at the Merovingian's Chateau. First encountered walking upside down on the ceiling in the gun-room of Club Hel, before disappearing (he is also encountered in the dream at the beginning of the game).
Rogue Witch - Exile, first encountered being tortured in the dungeons beneath the Merovingian's chateau. Frequently aids Neo throughout the distorted dimensions within the chateau.
Vamp Prime - Exile, leader of the vamp and Doberman exiles found in Downside Up within the Merovingian's chateau.
Witch leader - Exile, the Merovingian's "champion", who fights Neo in the final sequence before Neo can escape the Merovingian's chateau maze.
Agents - These are programs within the Matrix just like Smith. The original Agents are later replaced by upgraded versions.
Original Agents : Agent Smith (leader), Agent Brown, Agent Jones. Agent White appears in "The Security Guard" level, and he replaces Smith as leader of the Agents.
Upgraded Agents : Agent Johnson (leader), Agent Jackson, Agent Thompson.

Continuity changes

The game includes additional missions that extend the storyline of the theatrical film releases. While some of these are obviously solely for the benefit of game play, others seem to be based on scenes the Wachowskis planned to implement in the films (some of which can be found in The Art of The Matrix). These include:

An extension of the escape by Neo from the Metacortex building when he is first contacted by Morpheus. As in the film, though, the player is not required to escape and may be captured by the agents.
A series of training simulations taking place in the "construct", the Resistance's virtual reality; these instruct the player in hand-to-hand combat, firearms, and melee weapons.
An extended escape by the Nebuchadnezzar crew (sans Morpheus) through city sewers, ending with the temporary dispatching of Agent Brown by Neo in a fight while he is placing explosives. This event was not in the film, where the characters merely are seen leaving a manhole before heading to a TV repair shop.
An extended escape to the second hardline, detouring Neo into a damaged portion of the Matrix.
An extended fight with all three Agents after Neo is endowed with his powers as the One.
A series of five missions that fill in Neo's adventures in retrieving other "Potentials" (red-pills similar to Neo in ability to affect the Matrix) in the six-month period between Neo's retrieval from the Matrix power plant and the events of The Matrix Reloaded. The six-month period and the red-pill retrieval is noted in dialog between Morpheus and Commander Lock in their first meeting in The Matrix Reloaded (In the past six months...).
An extension of the fight between Neo and the three upgraded Agents, where Neo must also dispatch several SWAT team fighters.
A series of rescues that Neo must complete to see the various Zion ship captains to safety after their meeting (as shown at the start of The Matrix Reloaded).
An extension of the fight in the Merovingian's chateau, where Neo must solve a series of puzzles in the house (reminiscent of M. C. Escher surrealism) as well as battle in several fights.
An extended series of fights against the Smith clones in a church, a building closely resembling the Architect's quarters, and a version of the US Congress House of Representatives as the Keymaker attempts to get Neo and Morpheus to the final door to the Architect (a character seen only in film-derived cut scenes in the game).
The game changes the final battle between the enhanced Smith and Neo as seen at the conclusion of The Matrix Revolutions. Where Smith dominated the fight in the film, the fight's outcome depends purely on the player's capabilities.
The game also features a brand-new ending, because the Wachowski brothers felt the ending of The Matrix Revolutions would be a "lame" ending for a video game. It is an alternate ending, without the martyr-approach, where Neo kills Smith and then takes on the Mega-Smith, the final boss. Immediately before the final boss, the game is interrupted by the Wachowski Brothers (represented with single-color sprites similar to what might be found in a pre-8-bit game) who congratulate the player then explain their reasoning behind deviating from the movie's ending.
The player's final battle places Neo against the "MegaSmith", a gargantuan likeness of Smith composed of buildings, cars, Smith clones, and other debris from the city where the battle takes place. The player fights the Smith construct in a series of dodging thrown debris and plunging into the construct to severely damage sections of the Smith construct.
Following the battle, the game ends with the final cinematics from the conclusion of The Matrix Revolutions. Rather than the use of the film's next-to-final track, "Bridge of Immortality", from composer Don Davis's official score, the game's cut scenes use Queen's "We Are the Champions"

The player is able to play as Shrek or nine of his friends throughout the game, and travel through 11 levels, while being able to switch between the 4 characters available in each level
Features
Hero Time

Hero time is the name given when only one character can complete a special task in a level. For example, Princess Fiona must capture birds for a pie by singing, Donkey must ride on Dragon to save Fiona in the carriage, sent tumbling down a hill by a spell casted by an evil witch, Little Red Riding Hood must fight the Fairy Godmother on conveyor belts as the others escape, Shrek throwing rioting peasants in the Police Patty Wagon, Gingy in Jack and Jill's Farm where he must climb the hill to fetch water from a well, Human Shrek and Horse Donkey in the mountain level where they must chase Fairy Godmother to save Snow White, Puss-in-boots must climb to the top of a waterfall, and Wolf must get a key to save Shrek, Donkey, and Puss-in-boots by surviving a Stairway of Doom

Characters
[edit] Playable

Shrek special: Lift, Shrek can lift items and dazed enemies. He is the Ogre protagonist of the game and is forced on an adventure to save his wife, Fiona from Fairy Godmother's plans. He is willing to fight any monster to prove to Fiona's father King Harold that he is worthy to be her husband. His Hero Time is in Far Far Away, throwing rioting peasants in the Patty Wagon. Voiced by Michael Gough.
Princess Fiona special: Time Slow, Time is slowed down to enhance her fighting, à la The Matrix. Fiona used to live in a tower until Shrek rescued her for Lord Farquad. The two fell in love and by a curse of a witch, Fiona was turned into an ogre for her love. Now she is joining her husband to Far Far Away to meet her parents. Her Hero Time is in Shrek's swamp. She sings with the birds in such a high pitch they explode for Grandma's pie, a reference to "Shrek". Voiced by Holly Fields.
Donkey special: Burro Blast, A powerful bucking kick. Donkey is Shreks closest friend and although a bit of a coward, he is willing to help Shrek in any adventure. He helped the big guy in saving Fiona and now wants to help stop Fairy Godmother and save the marriage. He is married to Dragon who unknown to him, is pregnant with his Donkey babies. His Hero Time comes in the Witch chase level. Really it can be said it is Dragon's Hero Time as she is the one who chases and saved Fiona from a lethal fall in an out of control carriage as Donkey rides on her back. Voiced by Mark Moseley.
Gingerbread Man special: Cookie toss, Cookies are thrown that attract enemies. Gingy is a Gingerbread man turned alive by his father the Muffin Man. He was captured by Lord Farquaad but now is ready to help his friend Shrek with his new adventure. In an attempt to help, he created a 20 foot little brother named Mongo. He got the group into the castle but slipped into the moat were Gingy is last seen morning his death. His Hero Time is in Jack's Farm where he must climb the hill to fetch water from Jack's well. Voiced by James Arnold Taylor.
Lil' Red special: Poison Apple toss, Explosive apples are thrown. Red is a baseball pitcher who joins the group after hitch hiking with them to Far Far Away. Her Hero Time is in Fairy Godmother's factory. She uses her apples to hold back Godmother as the others escape. Voiced by Tara Strong.
Dragon: Dragon used to be the guardian of Fiona's castle but after being defeated by Donkey has now fallen in love with him. They are married and Dragon is pregnant with Donkey's six babies. Dragon only appears in Level 2, Donkey rides her during his Hero Time. Voiced by Frank Welker.
Puss in Boots special: Tightrope walking. Puss is an assassin paid by King Harold to kill Shrek. He is defeated and spared for help in the adventure. After all he ends up being one of Shrek's closest friends. His Hero Time is in the Road to the Farm level. He must use his tight rope special to bring the elevator down from the top of a waterfall. Voiced by André Sogliuzzo.
Big Bad Wolf special: Huff n' Puff, Enemies are blown away with a gust of wind. This comes in particularly useful when the character is fighting on high places, as it can instantaneously kill enemies by blowing them away. Wolf is a little resentful at going through such danger for Shrek but is actually quite proud of his power. He is one of the creatures who helps Gingy in the jailbreak.
